PROPOSALS THRU CREATION OF (within 7-10 years)

 

1. National Insitute for the Deaf - To encourage the provision of facilities for private education of the deaf recognized by the Department of Education.

2. Deafness Research Projects
- To encourage large scale studies in the field of rehabilitation and long term longitudinal studies of deaf individuals from infancy to adult life.

- To provide facilities for the early identification of hearing loss in children and the provision of the necessary medicines, audiological, psychological and preventive services.
